  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy ThanksGiving to everyone.

Lots of things to be thankful for this year.
We gather up the family and enjoy everyone's company and awesome home cooked turkey with stuffed shells with meatballs and sausage plus the pies for desert.

I need to enjoy just a little of everything.

Three weeks+ till Christmas. The holidays come and go so fast. Bill

Not doing traditional this year, everyone voted for steak, so will be grilling tomorrow. Lots of the other usual good stuff, caserols, twice baked potatoes, pies, sparkling bubbly of the non-alcohol type for the kids etc...card games and movies on tap, maybe some football for entertainment!

So, happy Thanksgiving to all!

I had Chinese for lunch today just to break up the turkey juggernaut. We had ours Saturday between the wife having to work Thanksgiving and the bird still not quite thawed out on Friday. But had a long weekend in spite of it :)

Just gotta go rip it up! I gained (no sheeit) 7 Lbs. over Turkey Day. I burned 4.5 of them yesterday. Forget Jenny Craig, binge and purge, running on a treadmill, or dragging yourself to the gym.

Try my program! THE BRRRAAAAPPPPP DIET. Gas up your scoot and hunt for the whoops. Ride hard, have a Turkey sandy for lunch (just one!) and repeat. By my exclusive scientific data, I was able to turn 45 miles into 4.5 lbs. of lost weight! Thats right burn 1 lb of turkey n stuffin for every 10 good miles of smiles.

Your results may vary. Consult your doctor and your wife before beginning any moto-exercise program. The use of a dirt bike to lose weight can be dangerous and habit forming. Problem riding addict, too bad, you're SCREWED!!! THE BRRRAAAAPPPP DIET is not for everyone, only certified moto nutz should attempt this program. Huskynoobee and Cafe Husky assume no reposnsibility for any loss of weight, having to buy smaller trousers, rider related injury to body or wallet as a result of participation in this exciteing program. Side effects include loss of weight, loss of work time, cancelling date night with your sweetie, purchasing unnecessary but totally cool farkles for your bike, and the unstoppable desire to shop for your next dirt bike.
