• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

SALMINEN AND MEO WIN BIG AT GP OF GREECE

Enduro 1 and Enduro 2 series leaders Juha Salminen riding the TE250 and Antoine Meo on the TE310 again claim double class wins to extend their world championship advantages. Matti Seistola riding the TE250 again placed as runner-up to team-mate Salminen in the Enduro 1 class on day two after a third place finish on day one while Simone Albergoni secured his first podium result of the season with a third place Enduro 2 class finish on day one.

With Salminen comfortably leading the Enduro 1 World Championship on 239 points, Seistola moves into second on 198, tied with countryman Remes. Husqvarna TE250 won so far 9 of the 10 GP days.

Antoine Meo on his TE310 secured his fifth and sixth Enduro 2 class wins of the '11 EWC season. Antoine went on to claim a 22-second winning advantage on day one after winning all three special tests on the final lap. Joining Meo on the podium was his E2 class team-mate Simone Albergoni for the first time this season.

With five rounds completed Antoine has 232 points at the top of the Enduro 2 class while his closest rival Guerrero has 183. Simone Albergoni currently sits fifth on 140.

In the E3 class, Alex Salvini continues to improve on his TE511, as his confidence grows. Eventually finishing in a creditable fifth too many mistakes on the extreme test prevented Alex finishing on the podium. Husqvarna's Seb Guillaume didn't have the best of events as a crash during the first day, which left him severely de-tuned. Placing seventh Seb started day two but was forced to retire after just two special tests. Matching his day one result Salvini again placed fifth on his Husqvarna TE511.

As a side note...what do the girls in the second pic have going on?

I'm not sure fighting is on their minds ...

Yep, they apparently are still on the job standing on the boxes ...

Not pleased to hear that KTMs E2 man Johnny Aubert was seriously injured (will recover thankfully). He's been beating himself up this year, pushing or being pushed very hard....from Meo perhaps.

do the chicks come with the trophies??
