• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I was worried that my motorcycle enthusiasm was getting out of control. Maybe even to the point of being a problem. So I lined up all the runners and took some pics. Instead of confirming my suspicion, a new realization dawned: I'm a collector! Nothing wrong with that!

Let's see your collections, collectors! ;)

2003 Suzuki Savage 650
1984 Kawasaki KLT 110
1992 Kawasaki ZR 750 Zephyr
2004 KLX 110
2011 KLX 140 L
1987 KDX 200
1983 KDX 250
2003 KX-KDX 200 Hybrid
2012 Husqvarna WB 165
2014 Husqvarna TXC 310 R

2008 Yamaha PW 50
1981 Kawasaki KX 420 (being restored)
1981 Kawasaki KLT 200 (needs love)

The Ryca kits were a big reason for me grabbing that Savage. Lots of neat stuff you can do with those bikes.

First, I'm a little like DD, as I'm not gotta roll all of them out today, but I will some day ... But when I was in the states, and before I decided to become a full time, amateur dirt bike rider for life, I had this crowd of bikes ... And I pretty much knew I would never have a crowd like this again, so I did try to get them all in a single shot ...
I'm too lazy to get them all out of the garage and the house, to line them all up.:busted:

Only rode that Daytona a few times ...Proved it would whip the 600s we rode with, rode it a few more times and it was a phenomenal machine, but I have no death wish so riding it was ~over. A mistake buying it really.

Time stamp 2009... wow, time flies .... The red one on the end was purchased for riding here specifically...my 1st 4t dirt bike ... That worked out pretty well I think :)

That yellow and blue one ... that's the dirt bad a$$ ..

Looks like you are doing OK there :) ...Except for the 3 wheeler maybe ... Those were just too dangerous ...

Don't think I'm a collector really; I'll go with the term rider... That's the term used here often... More specifically, a Husqvarna dirt bike rider ... ...Wait till you see the 5 horses I have now ;0)

That 955 is awesome. I wish I had bought the triumph 650 and 675 instead of the CBR and GSXR.

That was their centennial model ... Another 20 horses or something extra .... and some carbon fiber stuff ...maybe the weird SA ... I could see why people are so excited over crotch-rockets but not for me ... Also, it pitched me over the bars so much when riding that my pain-in-the-wrist problem was exasperated 10x over a dirt bike. Almost unbearable to ride past a few dozen miles.
