Gearchange lever for TE 630

Dear colleagues,

I own a TE 630 and I am having problems to use the gearchange in offroad environment with my boots... I would lile to be able to modify its length to facilitate the introduction of my boot below. And the extreme let's say "tube" is too wide.

I would like to ask if you know if there is any lever from another maker that is compatible to our TE 630, instead of using the "official" replacement.

No one makes an after market lever for the TE 610/630, however the Hammer Head tips give you an inch more room.

Nice! Yes, I was thinking on having a thinner tip :-) It seems this could be the solution.

"no one makes an aftermarket lever" - not true. check out www.motosupplies.com in the UK, they can make whatever you want. They did one for me as I had the same problem.

Hi friends,

I am going to try with the Hammerhead tip that is tested by 1lunger.

I have already requested the Knurled Shift Tip - 'W' type (1 1/4" wide Knurled Aluminum Shift Tip) +20mm offset.
