i got a face-full of some gnarly branches in second gear sat, underestimated the density etc...ooops. visor etc took a whack, neck sore. i made it fine but my goggles took a complete thrashing. dual-pane lenses too so they are a little pricey. left side even came out of the frame, made the climb out really hard to see with the low afternoon sun on this damage. they didn't look saveable. 3 big white lines and tons of haze and scratches.
enter Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Polish. killed the haze, gouges and brought them back to useable condition. i've used it on street bike windscreens, truck lamp lenses, etc. works really well on my goggle lenses it turns out and i saved a pricey dual-pane. doesn't work on stiff necks though.
jack-n-coke in my Cafe Husky mug does.
stay thirsty my freinds.
