• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Full specs and prices for all 2011 Huskys!

Hmmm...

Last time I was on the Husky site, the only bikes listed DS were the WRE125 and TE630. This is showing several TE bikes in the DS list. I was very disappointed when I thought the 310 wasn't going to be factory street legal anymore as that is pretty important to me.

Wow, how cheap are the bikes in the U.S.! Now that the aussie dollar is on parody with the U.S. it would almost pay to import one here!

True, but you guys have double our minimum wage, so I imagine that the gov't will make sure to hit you with a high enough duty to make it equal in cost by the time you get your forms done.

I imported a car from Germany.
Car= 1200 Euro
Shipping, etc. ~2000 USD.
Final price, almost 4000 USD

Fuel capacity for 2011 310te listed at 8.5 liters and 1.93 gallons (US). 8.5 liters = 2.224 gallons (US). What's up?

Hey, I'm new here and been riding Husqvarna from 2005. Current bike is a TE250 (2007) with a bigbore 310.
Is no one surprised of the standard sprockets on the TE310 : 13-40 ?? I drive here in Belgium 14-50 ?

grtz

My standard sprockets were 13-50. 2007 TE250. I also have the big bore kit, I now run 13-49. I should have run a 12-49 in Colorado...

It was mentioned here some time ago that the high gearing had something to do with emissions ratings ..
