• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Fuel Filter For Te630

Super10

Husqvarna
AA Class
Honest, I have searched
(endlessly).

On my BMW, changing fuel filter is each two years, and a massive pain.
But new filters are cheap and easily available.

On the husky, not mentioned in service schedule....

Don't askmehowiknow......but the resident filter is an OEM.
So it is now a manky twelve year old.

My burning question is: Can I easily replace it, without mortgaging my left kidney.
I live in Ireland....
KN PF1300 NOT AVAILABLE
MAHLE KL 1022 NOT AVAILABLE, also seem to be too long at 126mm, vs 100mm OEM
MAHLE KL KL 63 NOT AVAILABLE
MAHLE KL97 don't fit as per Rotax_655

At this stage I am considering just reverse-flushing the existing fuel filter......

I know I could get a new Quantum Fuel Pump Kit from the US of A, for mucho dinero, but all I really need is a plain ordinary simple fuel filter...

Anybody got any words of wisdom?

Tia folks, this site has got the bike around Spain, Portugal, and a few more places, thanks.

No HiFlo filters around your area? Tons of TE 630 filters on Ebay.

Thanks for reply Dirtdame.
No problem at all getting the HiFlo HF563 Oil filters.
Searched up, down, and sideways, can't seem to find a match for the OEM Fuel Filter.
Have just searched Ebay too as you suggested.

Perhaps the previous owner changed the Pump Assembly with something off a different bike, maybe a Terra?

Any luck? i am changing my fuel pump (quantum) and while in there i want to change the mounted in tank filter but can't seem to find it anywhere. The quantum one doesn't look like the in tank one, looks more like in line. Is that what people are doing, going inline?

No sadly.
In the end I removed the filter, and reverse bled it with a couple couple of liters of petrol.
Ran a liter tru the normal way,
Then reverse with more petrol,
all the while shaking it like a mad thing.

Re-installed it.
Alls good now.
Just returned from 3000km trip, in the mountains in North of Spain,
Bike back to normal
