the chain adjuster bolt on my 1998 360 froze
had this happen on my 87 430, so won't make the same mistake again
this time I decided to be patient instead of breaking the bolt
so here's what I did
removed the plug in the side of the swing arm and put a whole can of penetrating oil in there
using a heat gun I waited for about 5 minutes and the bolt did not turn, kept going at about 9 minutes the bolt moved a tiny bit, left the heat on and began to wiggle it, pretty soon I was getting a 1/4 turn in and out so kept working that in and out
after about 15 minutes i was getting 2-3 turns in and out, kept working it till it was out
the aluminum threads look good and didn't have to drill anything or install an insert
this is in the 2 stroke section as it was one but will work on ANY bike
some don't have that convenient plug but most have a hole to heat vent the welding of the swing arm
