Hi guys.
I’ll start by saying I’m a novice when it comes to bikes. I have tried searching over the last week for bay similar problems on an EFI bike but can’t find the right info for my problem.
I acquired this SMS630 in ‘as is’ condition. It fires up and idles, but gas is just pouring out of the air box, a steady stream.
I pulled out the throttle body and tested the infector to make sure it closes and opens.. sprays on and off and doesn’t leak fuel from around the o’ring etc when I crank the engine. I have tried with the power commander connect and also with the stock Ecu re connected. Same thing it starts right up but pours gas out.
Could it be a faulty fuel regulator? Causing too high of fuel pressure and spraying way too much fuel ?
Anyone have any ideas on what I can try next? I am waiting on the IBEAT connection cables to plug in for further diagnostic help.
Thanks a lot legends!
