• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Last week I was out for a nice ride and testing some parts. There was this section of trail that was a long down hill with a left turn at the bottom. I came flying down the hill (well in my mind I was flying) and instead of turning left, I decided it would be more fun to tackle a downed tree. It was a beautifully executed tackle, perfect form, nice square take down. I got up, dusted myself off and noticed the left radiator had not enjoyed its encounter with the tree. It was badly bent, and had a nice twist in it.

So monday I sent it off to Mylers radiator repair. This is the third rad I have sent them. I called today to let them know it would be showing up and give the credit card info. The lady told me it had shown up already, and would go out this afternoon. :jawdrop: Same day turnaround, can't beat that. With a little luck I will be back up and running this weekend. So if you play contact sports with hard objects and your radiators get injured, send them to Mylers. Great service.

Thanks, Colo moto! Did they send you a refrigerator magnet?

I've been using Myler's for years. They do excellent work and the short turnaround time never ceases to blow my mind

I might get a fridge magnet out of the deal too?! They just shipped today, so I'll let you know on the magnet tomorrow or friday.

Mylers has fixed more than just a few for me. Most amazing was a rad that was twisted And smashed. Came back looking like brand new. All for the price of peanuts.
