  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

FMF Comes thru again Wally sells another 18 165 kits so FMF hooks us up with 18 more pipes and the parts to make them work on the Husky.What other pipe company wants to work with you like that Thanks FMF

Even though there were small hiccups in the beginning, I'm glad they pulled through, and are keeping up with demand now!

I was willing to support a different company for all my exhaust needs when there were problems in the beginning and it looked like they would back out. Now that FMF has come through and is stepping up to the plate I will be eating my own words and ordering a new FMF Powercore 4 for my TXC250. If I was willing to NOT buy their product for sucking, then I HAVE to be willing to do the opposite when they support us! Thanks Ajax and Walt! Thanks FMF!!

Awesome company! Now I have another reason to buy their product.
 
The pipes are in, the pipes are in! We will be getting these welded up for everyone that wanted one. If you don't have one for your 165 send me a PM and we'll get you fixed up.

PS, I know for a fact that P-3 has shipped some pipe guards and are working on more and they look awsome. Very thick and well made.

My guard showed up yesterday REAL NICE I have never ran a guard before but this one looks good
