  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

thinking about pullling the trigger on one of these ....
fmf site only goes up to 2006 ....
but that is still the correct pipe for my 08 cr 125 ...
correct???

might pick this pipe up tomorrow and if I'm lucky have time for a ride. Bike is currently running a 35 pilot 1.5 maybe 2 turns out and a 390 main. Do I need to worry about rejetting when i pop the new pipe on???

popped on nice and easy ....
with luck I'll get to give it go friday afternoon

any recommendations for a pipe guard. planning to go CF to keep the noise down

Yes... glad to hear it. I have one comming for my 08 Cr. Hey let me know and I 'll do the same on what jetting you end up liking the best. Anyone else runny the fatty on a 08 CR please chime in also, thanks.

got to take a short ride today ... the pipe does make a difference but I can't say it is huge. I did have a bit of a bog some where just south of when it comes on the pipe. The air temp was about 45 to 50F .. the plug was a nice toasty brown. The 35 pilot seemed ok but the 390 might be a bit lean. I was in tight stuff so never really wound it out on top. To be safe I would fatten things up and work it back from there. now that I think of it carburation off idle to when it came on the pipe was kind of spotty. not bad but not really clean all the way up to coming on the pipe

Sounds like raise the needle... Fatty is going to change low to mid (on the needle area), not top (main jet area).

Hey thanks for your inputs skid and Norman. I can't wait to try mine then I am going to do the EG 144 kit!
