  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Flywheel puller wanted.

PawPaw

Husqvarna
AA Class
I am in need of a flywheel puller set for my 2013 Husqvarna TC 449.
The OEM parts numbers are...8000H5011 & 8000H5013 ( as per service manual)

I have looked Motion Pro and a few other sights and have not located one or a cross reference unit.

Anyone know where I might locate one?

Thank you,

Paw Paw

Does anyone have the size, thread and pitch spec's so I can further my search for a puller?
It does not give this info in the service manual.

Paw Paw

I would also like to know the same information as "PawPaw" is requesting above. Metric thread size and pitch spec for the flywheel puller on the G450 or Husky 449/511 engines.
Spare engine is coming apart on the bench for a freshening soon and I am now gathering up the needed parts and specialty tools to do it.

Please. some one help with this!
If you have a puller and you don't want to sell it, please tell me where you got it.
Thank you,

Paw Paw

If I had that info it would help as well. I have posted the OEM parts numbers, but that part is not available any where and nobody shows to have a puller for this bike listed. Even the one posted above does not show to fit my bike, but it may as it fits the previous years of the same bike.

if it fits the previous years, don't you think it'll fit yours? compare flywheel part numbers to reassure yourself. (often, databases will not get updated for years- or ever, even... when the bike model is no longer manufactured)

good luck.

Make HUSQVARNA
Model TE449
Beginning Year 2011
Ending Year 2012
Thread Size (application) 27mm x 1.25

Part #8000H5011 extractor $66.50

give BMP a call and see if they can find it for you- though at nearly $70 I'd try the $20 Pit Posse first. or try a Beemer one.

I think you're looking for a M28 x 1.5P internal RH puller. I didn't have any luck finding one anywhere and settled to buy the Husqvarna 8000H5011 puller. Good luck mate.

Oops... looks like you're a day or two too late with this info. Let's hope PawPaw got the right one.

How confident are you of those specifications- I don't trust Pit Posse.
