I was on the same ride with Fast1, however my problem was not as fixable.
1. After a gas stop on the third day of our 1100 mile trip the engine would crank but not start. I could hear that the fuel pump was not priming and the nuetral light was flashing 3 shorts and on long flash. Checked the fuses and conections to no avail.
2. After the 2nd gas stop on the first day came to a stop and whole kickstand, bolt, and spring were gone. Never hit anything must have come loose.
3. My dealer is small and not to familiar with Husky's. I have heard of the following field campaigns for 08's: New Batter Tray, Upgrade to Ibeat software (I do not have the PU kit yet) Any other fixes out there I should know about?
Any thougts on the fuel pump problem. Called the dealer when this happened he was thinking a cranshaft position sensor.
PRO
BTW: Fast1 has the PU kit, I do not, we were both running 15t CS gears. During a high speed run at an abondoned WWII air base in the UP he hit 96 MPH, I would top out at 91. We both saw some orange specs in our mirrors. Another rider on a TE-610 out ran the orange bikes as well.
