• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

You are gonna stock the WB165?!?!?!?!?! THAT IS AWESOME BILL****************************************

Hi Bill,

I was really backed up for a while there but it looks like I will be shipping yours shortly. My regular job has really gotten in the way. I have a total of 3 rides on my new '12 in the over a month I have had it. John is working to get the FMF pipes to me. It is hard to get a large company to quickly respond to a small order of 25 pipes. The order was placed about 5 weeks ago and I am hopeful that they will at least ship 5 or 6 pipes the the next week or so.

Sounds good Walt ,cant wait to get these bulit.?I guess no lights or speedos on new 2013 WR125 anymore.

I should be shipping your first kit this weekend. I won't have a pipe right now but will send along asap. My '12 WR125 ran surprisingly well with just the fmf fatty for the 125. I got in an HGS 200 sx pipe that I bolted up last week. Have only ridden it around the place but seems to have crazy upper mid and top end. I to am still waiting for a 200 fatty as I sent mine away to a better home early this summer. The HGS is a works pipe and very cool but not necessarily the best pipe for me and cost crazy dollars. Still has good bottom(far more than a 144) and a very linear power band until all hell breaks loose at ~7K rpm and then the power valves open. Pulls 3 mph more top speed than the 125 fatty or stock pipe. Would make a crazy CR165 cheater bike.

I wish I had more 165 cylinders back from the borer as my 09 isn't going to get riden again until it gets a boost up from the 144. No trails getting cleared. It feels like a red headed step child as it had its guts ripped out in favor of the new baby.

I havent called husky yet ,but it may be a mistake and just didnt come with the bike.its happened before.

YES LOOK ABOVE AT THE PICS,JUST READ COMPLETLY THRU THE 2013 SALES PROGRAM NOT ONE WORD ABOUT LIGHTS INCLUDED.>>Update, working on getting lights at least.

what kind of problems?

Very slow loading on public wifi and on our air card at home I can never get it to load. Apple computer or windows system, same issue. I can get it load fine on my phone and at work on my firewalled system.

Hmmm...no problem hitting it from here....Maybe Virginia is just too far away :-)

Also the address is actually http://billshusky.com no www at the front....sometimes this can slow down the transfer to the correct site.

Seems odd... KTM and Husaberg are putting lights back on 2 strokes in the US and Husky is taking them away.

Seems year to year. They all used to come with sparkies now none do (KTM or Husky) as far as i know. Don't care about the useless light anyway. You want a real light you have to buy one regardless.

Sounds like we might have a shiny new 2013 WB 165 at the China Hat NW Gathering this year ??

We can test it against the 04 version WB165...
