    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Top-Ten For Thomas at Cherokee National EnduroCountry music star Craig Morgan enjoys a day in the mud with FAR Husqvarna

Jason Thomas put in another solid performance with an eighth-place finish in Greensboro, Georgia.
Corona, CA - February 22, 2012 - The Fred Andrews Racing (FAR) Husqvarna team had a good showing at the Cherokee National Enduro with Jason Thomas landing another top-ten finish. Though Thomas' teammate Andrew Delong was sidelined with an injury, he still showed his support by cheering on fellow Husqvarna riders, which included his younger brother, Craig Delong, and country music star Craig Morgan.
Rain throughout Saturday night made for muddy conditions at the Cherokee National Enduro in Greensboro, Georgia. Thomas started out the day with a 14th place finish on the first test after crashing and getting stuck under his bike. He made improvements from there and scored well in the subsequent special tests to end the day in eighth place.

"I had a lot of fun today," Thomas commented. "We made the bike softer and now I can actually race through the woods - we made a big step forward today!"

Halls Cycles Husqvarna rider Mandi Mastin had another successful weekend, and backed up her win at the season opener with a second-place finish in Georgia. Andrew's brother Craig Delong had another strong showing, once again winning the 200B class on a Husqvarna WR125. "Looks like the FAR team has a young rider for the future," Andrews commented.
A FAR Husqvarna special guest rider at the Cherokee National Enduro was none other than Craig Morgan. Mounted on a FAR Husqvarna TXC310, Morgan contested the B 45+ class where he carded a 12th place finish. Television camera crews were also on site, filming for Morgan's upcoming show on the Outdoor Channel.

"It was so much fun out there today," Morgan exclaimed. "The TXC310 is so light and made it fun in the tight woods. I stalled it a few times, but with the electric start, I never lost time. Big thanks to FAR Husqvarna for taking care of me!"

Meanwhile, on the west coast, Cory Graffunder rode his factory-backed Husqvarna TXC511 to a second-place finish in the West Hare Scrambles series. Graffunder grabbed the early lead in the Picacho Creek Challenge National Hare Scrambles, but had to make up ten positions after accidentally bypassing the endurocross section. He made it back to within 18 seconds of the lead, but ran out of time and had to settle for second. Fortunately his pair of second-place finishes give him the points lead in the West Hare Scrambles Championship Series.
