• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hi All
Sorry if its on here somewhere already but hopefully someone can help me quickly on this one but I lost my blanking plug on the exhaust manifold the other day and wondering if someone could please tell me the correct size and pitch? The o2 sensor was removed at the dealership so I cannot use as a reference. I can order one at the dealership but they quoted me $120 AU!
Any help would be grateful thanks.

I believe [the 450/510/630] Husky's use a standard M18x1.5 O2 sensor so [for those] any plug from an autoparts store should work.

The 449/511 series use 12x1.25 plug,d series spak plug works hook a false cap and wire to it and drive your buds nuts trying to figure out how that after burner works. For the older huskys a cheap fix is the EFi the BMW final drive filler plug #07119905428 is under $10 and works perfect ,even ahs an allen head .Most all auto parts here have these size drain plugs in stock.

of no real importance just an FYI. I lost my plug on a Baja trail ride, man the thing sounded silly!! I dug through the hardware bin at my sponsor shop and found a thread pitch match bolt, but it was too long. Did a depth measurement and cut it down to size. Put on a new alloy crush washer and some locktite and installed it, it never came out again and the plus was that it was a chrome screw and became exhaust bling.

Thanks guys for all the info. Really appreciate it. Its funny in ebay you search m12X1.25 or the such, not too many hits, then type oil drain plug and you get heaps! Ended up getting a red anodised one for $8, chop off the magnet and whaola. Dunno how long it will stay red but looks pretty cool.
Thanks again.
