• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Dunlop tire rebate

Skyrooster

Husqvarna
C Class
I bought a set of Dunlop AT81s in Sept 2014 and immediately sent off the rebate form. I still haven't got a rebate. Has anyone else been waiting as long as me? I emailed them and no answer as of yet. :excuseme:

I did the rebate thing with them last year, pain in the ass, I had to hound them the entire time, they shorted me by 50%, I had bought the 4 tire max, I stayed on them and they finally coughed up the full rebate, but I got the feeling that they would have just as soon shorted me as fulfilled their end of the deal. I will never again do one of their rebate programs.

I bought a set for my son's yz450 last year and haven't got my rebate either. If they rip me off it will be the last Dunlop tires I buy.

No rebates for me unless instant rebates.

It is a sleazy way to promote.

They farm out the processing and lots of incentives to lose your applications or claim they were incomplete etc, etc.

They should credit you via the seller and then let the seller get the delayed gratification.

you need to pick up the phone and CALL them that is what I did and got my Dunlop AKA Goodyear credit cards took a few calls but got them
