• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hey.
Got the new 610 out last weekend to test out her single track skills.
Pretty amazing how well this big heavy DS bike does on the trails. Awesome everywhere
but the real rocky stuff. Thats where she shows her size.
But, that type of ridding is few and far between for me so the other 98% of the time it was all smiles.
I had heard about a bunch of new trails at Diamond Mill and had not been there for a few years so I headed out Sun afternoon for a few hr of play.
Conditions were near perfect and never saw another bike the whole day.

Logged in about 45 miles and had a great time exploring the new trails.
Heading back this weekend for a huge loop starting at Diamond mill thru Jorden over to the Trask. Then into Tillamook for lunch and back.
Should be a fun day, and this is a great bike for the trip!

That right there looks like the definition of good times! I plan to be out there with a couple other fat heavy big bores on Sunday.

Those are some great pix you took. Nice machine too. I was setting up to ride, but Southern Idaho just got more snow. Rats!!!

Holy chain saws, ( pic 5 & 6 ). That's one way to keep the quads and side x sides off the single track !

95% of that area is impossible to ride on a quad anyway. Steep and off camber everywhere. you can see from some of his pictures they purposely blast some nice single track out into quad width crap for those guys to destroy. Us single track guys would be pissed but they are also busting in tons of new single track so it is all good. There is a guy here managing and building trail for the state for the last few years that simply kicks ass. We are SOOOO lucky to have him.

Hey, I that looks like my old bike!
Hope you're enjoying it. Great bike, it will go most anywhere.

Nice, Did Dave sell it to Dave?!?!?! That is a clean bike!

Ha. No, I traded in for a used 2012 TE310 at Bill's. Can't say after that... it must have found a new owner.
It was a clean, low mile bike with some good add-ons.

Yep, think it was yours.
Bills son had it for about a year I guess?
Had 950 miles when I got it. Super clean with a few goodies.
May get a bigger tank at some point and new dot tires, but other than that its about perfect!

Cool. Well, enjoy it.
It's a blast and does alot of things well. Really multi-purpose. Last year of the carb 610's.
