• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Decal/Graphic kits

I had custom graphics made for another model a couple of years ago from these folks and they were very high quality, very nicely done, and he has patterns for virtually every bike. Not sure if he would have them for the Husky, but he might be able to get them or make them. Certainly worth contacting: www.stellarmx.com

How do you apply the decal? DEo you have to remove the old one first or just apply the new one on top of the old one?

Well I emailed graphicmx.com asking if they had any photos of the fitment on the 630 to make sure they weren't just selling a 610 kit as a 630 and I got this reply from them.....

Unfortunately we haven’t sold many for the 630 and haven’t received any customer pics yet so we don’t have any pics of them on the bike.

If you order and they do not fit, which I have no reason to think they wouldn’t, you can return them.

thanks,

Marsden W. Linder

Same answer I got over the phone a month or so ago.

Guess one of us gets to be the guinea pig

I ordered a set from Graphicmx nearly 3 months ago and still haven't received my order. They said they sent it out but won't give me a tracking number or a refund. I am in the UK but it rarely takes more than 1-2 weeks to get anything shipped over. I'm not happy with their unhelpful attitude. I'd avoid them.
