    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Davi Millsaps Joins Team BTO Sports-KTM-WPS

Team BTO Sports – KTM – WPS is proud to announce the signing of multi time Monster Energy Supercross winner and the defending 2014 Monster Energy Cup Supercross champion, Davi Millsaps to the team effective immediately. Millsaps will debut with the team when he contests the 2015 Monster Energy Cup, where he will look to defend his 2014 MEC title. been some interesting web chat about this. Seems he kinda hated the KTM a few years ago but the new bike is drastically changed. I wish him the best, really like that guy and thought he was the next big thing.

A few years ago? It was last year he has a contract to ride it and never saw 1 event...

Bike must be so much better now that he got dropped for possession of some unknown substance.

I read in testing he was struggling with it. Had rode them before and did not like them. There's an interview with him somewhere before KTM saying he did not like the feel of them personally.

- Everyone says the new KTMs are a very different animal. Actually sounds like I might like them more. Stability being much better.
 
Odd move for sure. I wonder if he realized he only has a couple years left to make money racing bikes? Better to take a ride on a bike you don't like than no ride at all?
