  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

I just picked up my first Husky and I'm looking for a kick stand for a 2003 CR250 anyone know if they have one laying around in there garage? Thanks, Bob

technically they never came with one
you will need to get one from the WR model line and weld a tab to the frame
 
Thanks I love that bike I drove from Michigan to S. Carolina thru a blizzard to get it I wanted it that bad.. Lol and Halls had all the parts I need for adding a kickstand I'm happy now...thanks for the hook up guys!!
 
I'm working on a local cl seller that has a 2001 cr250 for sale. How hard is it to add lights to these bikes? WR250 stator and flywheel weight?
 
Troy I'm in Michigan.. Wow I'm getting confused would the Set.#s give more info on what I really have?? Just was told its a 03 CR250 could this really be a WR? If so BONUS!!! Cuz in only using it for woods riding...my track days are long gone...lol

look at the steering head on the frame for the VIN
that is where you will find out
 
Ok cool I'll do some more research..its a 5 speed so now its looking a lot more like a WR huh? We have alot of great trail loops to the north of where I'm at and the snows going away fast now too!! About time to ride!!!
