125-200cc CR 125 pipe on a WRE?

Hi, I've spotted a CR 125 expansion chamber cheap online and I was wondering will I be able to fit this on my WRE. If I did fit it I assume I would need to buy the carb rejet kit?

depends on year if the chamber will fit- maybe you ll need the silencer as well

My WRE is 2011 and the expansion chamber is from a 2013 CR.

this will not fit, you ll nee the complete exhaust system or have to fabricate something

that will not fit as the stinger of the expansion pipe is shorter from the later WR and CR models. a complete system will work.

older models WR and CR (like 2002 and older) will fit as it has the same stinger configuration as that the WRE and the SMS use.

yet the older model has a mounting bracket close to the stinger location that is not used on the newer husky models.

if your pipe get a knock on the wrong side the stinger can hit the air filter housing and melt it.

with the older mounting configuration this risk was considerable less.

Thanks, I'll just leave that exhaust then and buy something like a DEP specifically for the WRE

Do you mean a stock system or a after market system for a wr/cr. I like the look of the DEP and FMF as they are nickel plated so rust won't be a problem and they like nice and shiny

Yes- get a full DEP system- you might have to get an adaptor/braket made for the silencer.
