'11 TE 310. Had a few little dismounts on the weekend, on the last one the bike gave me a beautiful fountain of coolant from the hole I poked in right lower rad hose. The trail side repair involved lots of electrical tape and hose clamps, followed by filling the rad back up with plastic camelback tapwater. After all that leaked out riding to the nearest big-box retailer that was open on a long weekend, I cobbled together some plumbing bits to get a watertight seal, then put in more tapwater as it was all that was handy to finish the weekend.
So...just flush it and refill with proper antifreeze/DI water mix? Anything else I should be worried about in terms of crud in the cooling system from 8 hard hours running water of very questionable purity?
Thx!
