Triad Ridge Adopt -a- Trail Workday
4-Mile Area, Buena Vista, CO
Saturday May 24 8:30 am
Monday June 16th 8:30 am
HTA is a Multi-trail user alliance dedicated to cooperating on multi-user trail projects in the Headwaters region of the Rocky Mountains. HTA was founded by Derrick Nehrenberg of Juicy Trails and Mike Brown of Exit Tours M/C in the Spring of 2013 to test the feasibility of a Multi-user alliance to work on trails with the USFS and BLM. The whole HTA concept came about from a suggestion by a Local Ranger who is a trail enthusiast.

Exit Tours M/C has ‘Adopted’ Triad Ridge in the 4 -Mile area Southeast of Buena Vista and on Saturday the 24th of May and Monday June 16th has planned work days for Volunteers. You need NOT be a member of HTA or Exit Tours M/C to participate.
We encourage all trail users to come out and enjoy working on trails. It really is fun!
Exit Tours M/C and the HTA will provide sandwiches and beverages for all volunteers at the confluence of the 2 sides of Triad Ridge on the East end.
All Volunteers will receive stickers, lunch and a beverage(s).
Even If you can only donate 2 hours on either Day, Just Do It !
These were the only 2 days the USFS had available to supply tools and supervision.

2013 Greens Creek HTA Workday
2013 Greens Creek Workday
Exit Tours M/C, the Headwaters Trails Alliance (HTA) and Tom Dillion and his crew worked with the United States Forest Service (USFS) on Greens Creek in late June of 2013 on a mutually beneficial project.
We all worked together near the top of Greens Creek on erosion control to keep snow melt from running down the trail. And we re-built what is named ‘Creeky Corner’. The HTA arranged for beers, BBQ and Breakfast Saturday morning, and everybody got dirty and had a pretty good time without riding.
Triad Ridge Adopt -a-trail
Also in 2013 Club VP Sean Barr signed for the Club to Adopt Triad Ridge in the 4-Mile Area of the National Forest south-east of Buena Vista. Triad Ridge is a looping singletrack trail to the east side of Chinaman’s Gulch and Carnage Canyon. Triad Ridge was originally pushed for by Board Member Dudley Fecht.

The US Forest Service Adopt-a-trail program was one of the reasons for creating Exit Tours M/C. Individuals cannot adopt trails with the USFS.
For 2014 the plan is to work with the USFS and possibly do a few small re-routes on Triad Ridge.
Dates and plans have been posted on the Club Facebook Page and on the HTA facebook page.
