• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Colorado Offroad Racing Championship Series (CORCS)

Being an official racer as of this event, I figured I'd throw the flyer out here :)

Last years champ was on a WR250 sponsored by a local deal, Big D Motorsports. So atleast Husky is looking good here in Colorado. Anyone else going?

I may try it out... would be a newb with a race like this though! I want to try GP racing this year. I will hopefully get down to Colo Spgs for the opening SRAC MX this Sunday to get a little seat time. I wonder if a full tank will get me through this race?

I'm not sure. C is an hour and a half but A and B are 2 hrs. They are doing a really nice one at a ski resort Sometime later in the season too. check out corcs.net
They also have a Facebook page if that's easier

Sorry about that, I put the one pic twice. I was able to get a pic of each husky guy. There was one 310 and 3 125/144's. big d Motorsports sponsors Cody who was the overall winner last year on a husky wr250 and is on the 310 this year. He passed the yamaha in the pic before the next turn :). Big D's son will be on a 125 for the next race. He attended this one and helped people refuel but was a little under the weather for racing.

If you're in Colorado, big d Motorsports is the husky dealer to check out. They rent out all the 4 strokes too and at only about $100 per day. FabOneUp is going to be racing the next event so I can get pics of a forum member racing :). All of the pics are just from an iPhone and I couldn't get on track to get shots on jumps.
