• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Coffee and the gang...08 and PC V????

Coffee and others here..

Just read the write up on the Power Commander V on the 08 250...

so when I go to the PC web site, it says that I can ONLY run the Power Commander III USB model on my 08 610.

Correct or am I reading that the 5 version WILL work on my bike along with the auto tune?

I am going to remove the stock exhaust, replace it with the Leo Vince (plans right now unless the herd here points me other directions (MUST HAVE an SA)

Going to pull the trigger on the Power Commander and would much rather have the V version with Auto Tune....

Thanx in advance....

Buy any PC V for any 2009 Husqvarna bike, it makes no difference which one, AND the Auto Tune.

When you get it, zero out the map so it does nothing, then let the Auto Tune create the map for you.

They do not support PC V and the 2008 bikes - because they would have to re-test all those bikes, because that is Dynojets policy.

It make no difference what pipe you have, the Auto Tune will adjust for it.

Okay Dean, Im brain dead....
but this old soldier is reading .........

the PC V WILL WORK with my 2008, I just have to zero the map, and it will set the new one.....

NOT that it wont work, they arent going to back through all the testing to be able to post on their web site that it will work with the 08's, per your write up and test on the 2008 TE250

This one.

You don't really have to zero out the map, but that would be cleanest.

But what you need to order is a PC V for a 2009 Husqvarna. Semco is a site sponsor, maybe give him a chance to sell you one?

As Dean said; you can use any of the PCV's made to fit a 09 or 10 Husky. So far the the connectors and wire lengths are the same for all husky bikes.

The latest version of the power commander software lets you import PCIII maps. So you can download an 08 610 map from Dynojet and use that as a starting point.

I have sold a few PCV kits to riders in Hawaii. PM or email info@semcodesigns for pricing if you're interested. I have them in-stock.
