• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Clutch Basket for a 2009 wr 125

yaackles

Husqvarna
A Class
I am looking for a clutch basket (Housing) that will fit on a 2009 WR 125
Standard housing NOT modified for auto clutch.

Thanks much,
Jake A.

OEM parts are available, what's the issue? Took me 2 minutes to find the part # 800070468 Hall's and Bill's are site sponsors and probably have it in stock.

The outer basket has only been available as a complete unit for some time now, so you have to buy #19, you can't just buy the various pieces.

Hmmm...I've only had to buy plates, but aren't all the various pieces listed and available on the link above?

GEEE THAAAANKs for the AWESOME info (not) ..... The part no. you have listed is NOT the part that I WAS looking for, I have all the correct numbers (old and new) Most parts are dwindling out of availability and or have a LONG backorder. Believe me I have done a thorough search for the Items I need. The most helpful and knowledgeable people that I have dealt with has been "Bills Motorcycles Plus" http://billshusky.com/ which I knew about before you posted your ever so wonderful post ?!?!?!

I have 2 of those FBF billet baskets and I paid $130 for a used one and $175 for a brand new one I found on craigslist.

The last Hinson I saw for sale on ebay sold for about $200, but that was years ago.

Mmm, sexy.

thanks for the offer, hope my offer did not offend, that is what the OEM goes for.
What is "FBF"
No offense taken... I thought you were being funny. Hinson only sold theirs as an assembly. I am getting a stock setup to keep the Hinson for some R & D to possibly reproduce. Might just try for a billet production of just the basket to work with the other OE parts.
