    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Cleveland National Forest trails re-open

I mention this because for Orange County residents it's the closest riding area and has been closed for a while.

Mostly fire roads, but with the weather so clear, it's worth the view at the top....around 5500 ft. Not sure how much of this is open to motorcycles but I would guess most of it. Never been up on a motorcycle but have been up on a bicycle. You can really see a lot from up there.

IS this green sticker area with no license plate? e.g. TC or just dualsport?

I know that the riding area up on the east side of El Cariso village is open to green sticker bikes with no plates ...

Where do you access this from.... Skyline Dr. in Corona? or the OC side?

Let me know. All of this is minutes from my house....

Planning on doing some shuttle MTB rides on the SanJuan Trail from the top campground down to the ranger station in December....12 miles of downhill ... next best thing to riding MX!

As far as I know, all of the Cleveland National Forest with the exception of Wildomar OHV is only open to plated vehicles, and non-motorized vehicles.
 
Don't know about green sticker, I'd just call the Cleveland Nat. Forest for info. 1 909 736-1811 in Corona

The access near Corona is Knabe Rd. .5 mi. south of the I-15 exit at El Cerrito (Weirick Road). The road generally is 5SO4 and 3S04

The distance is 28 mi. to Hwy 74, the Ortega Highway. You can catch the freeway back just south of there or the toll road or head over into Elsinore and back to Corona or ....
