The event at Glen Helen today was impressive to say the least. There were tons of people there to pay respect and ride. I saw many people on Husky’s riding, with all orange gear on. I was the only one there with a Husqvarna shirt on.

Nancy (Kurt's Mom) came over and gave me a big hug although I think it was me hugging her. I couldn't help but to get a little misty.

The prayer was silent, not a sound heard anywhere, but when they started their bikes, the thunder rolled.

I remembered back to my days as a professional drag racer, man I just love that energy felt in the ground and all around you.

The best part is that I was there with friends. The Prospectors were happy to have my company and pulled me aside. The Smith's seemed pretty active, Alexander rode in the event, but not Dad. Alexander kept trying to grab me and pull me into the picture with his Dad haha. I'm photo shy so I stayed out of this one. They were happy to see me and I was happy to see them.

Ty was busy most of the day with a huge swarm of people around him, talking and asking questions. I decided to stay clear of that drama and kept my distance. I made sure that a couple of our products were donated to the Caselli fund. People bidded our coolant and irons up pretty high and all money went to the Caselli family.
In all, it was a pleasant day. Nancy said that she was so honored to have everyone there and that she thanked KTM and everyone for a wonderful memorial for her son.
