• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I'm making my second pilgrimage to Budds Creek MX park today. Hope to find it open and operating so I can stroll the amazing place once again!!! And yes non foto me will snap some shots as long as my batteries last.
Just in case any Cafe inmates are there I will have my RynoPower hat on and may be carrying a Husky backpack----Husky backpacks are now legit at all MX facilities once again.....later Rob

Such a cool track! I went and watched two pro races there. Someday i might even get to ride it :) have fun out there and you should definitely be representing the big H out there ;)

I saw the track rental day fee was very reasonable.
Well I walked the track (outside), there were alot of riders today 2 local clubs represented as a get together family ride day, good vibe.
No pros but a few fairly fast experts out there, the track is one of the top classic MX tracks in the US, it is badd-arse. My second visit there without a lap....maybe some day.

Cool! They need to have USGP there!
Even though I'm not really an MX guy.... I'm fortunate to have Unadilla and Broome-Tioga close by. Unadilla is truly "Hallowed Ground" and witnessed some great racing there. I've been fortunate enough to ride "Screw You" and "The Gravity Cavity", racing the GNCC there. We got to ride parts of the National track, that amateur MX guys don't...

Too bad owner Tommy Hurd, sold Broome-Tioga's National MX Race rights to Texas track, as it's cool track too. Some nice memories of JS7/Bubba, racing a 125 there! My neighbor Paul Carpenter, was his teammate that year.
