  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Brand new TE310 won't run

Hi Everyone
Me again, the problem has been solved! It was to do with the assembly in the shop (good on them for admitting it), I got told it was to do with the installation of the injector and a seal. Apparently it has been thoroughly test riden and is running as it should.

I get it back down here tomorrow (I live in Kakadu National Park), and I've got a 4 day weekend so I'm looking forward to finishing the run in process and then seeing how quickly it takes me to run out of talent on this thing :)

Thankyou for all your suggestions, I now have a great idea of what to look for if things go awry in future and I also know the few things I need to order (i.e. Temp sensor) to have on hand.

Thanks again one and all, I will be seeing you all around these pages!

Glad you got it sorted out and the dealer took care of you:banana:

Congrats on the bike, and I hope the next 15,000 miles are good to you:thumbsup:

That's great news! Especially the ship back date and four days of riding.

Don't go too crazy, but don't be too sane! :)

Not to cast doubt on their story, but I thought the injector was installed at the factory?

Regardless, glad to hear you will soon have a bike that runs properly. Have fun!

Nice. Whatever it was it sounds like your good to go. Great bikes, enjoy. They seem to be VERY solid. My buddies uncorked TE310 is super fun and quite fast.

Hey All, me again!
Haven't been here for a little while. THanks for all the well wishes, I'm loving the 310! Haven't spent quite as uch time on it as I would have liked the mid 30 degree (Celcius) temps do sap the motivation a little.. All that's left to do now is enlist the help of one of the fellas or the missus and get my static sag set up properly and do some more fiddling with the fork adjustment.. THis is a very different beast to my crazily worked RMz250 that I traded in. How good is fuel injection on a bike!?!? Who new??? :)

And yes, AndrewS apparently the injector is installed in the factory. The dealer said they were just going to make a claim back through Husqvarna. It was a slow start to our relationship, but I think the TE310 and me will get along just fine..
