• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

BORCS 11MAY2013 Round 2

I ain't gonna ride it, but I'm more than happy work pit crew and/or provide support on the course.

Also, if they have posters made up, maybe send some my way and I'll post @ Temecula Motorsports, Langston Motosports, Cycle Gear, KTM and all points in between.

Just got word from the BORCS crew that they will have water truck for the infield section and that they will have a twisty "grass track" type ribboned viewer friendly section and that LR is supposed to assist with track layout- nice.

Got at least one other Husky rider in the Pro category with Noah K throwing his hat in the ring again. Carlos said LR has stated he will be there as well for the "kids" pro class as well (good because he technically qualifies for our 45+ open class.......)

Ummmmm yaaaaaa.....about LR. He's kind of good. Better than average and slighlty faster than most.

You and your bike! BORCS crew will have on site food stand and in Tecate BC Mexico, cerveza Tecate is welcomed in the pits!!
And yes Larry will be there so us old guys have a "peer" (in age only) to cheer on!!

Last year me and the kid were at WORCS at Cahuilla. LR was also there and lapped most of the field. Dude was NOT slow.

Larry rides in that effortless smooth as glass zone. he is just super smooth and flows. The best thing about LR is his smile and ethusiasm about riding even after all these years championships and high pressure racing.

Rob and the TXC310R 45+ Open P2 finish, followed the P1 guy for 6 solid laps within 100 yards to stay away from dust roost as much as possible, had to back off and I did 2 laps (7 and 8) in survival mode, heat related, got more hydro and some good breathing and finished the white flag lap 9 much better, we did 9 laps.
Pros lapped us and did 10. OA-Justin Morgan Hon CRF450X P1 OA, Noah Kepple Husky 310 P2 OA, LR himself Kaw KLX450F P3 OA.
