• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I made it up to the Black Dog National dualsport yesterday,Cheers to Tom and all the rest of the crew, everything went smooth roll charts spot on!!!I had a great time between fog, snow, sleet and great sunshine and the wonderful hot hotdog and chips in the toasty warming hut for lunch.Jason Dahners was my pilot to chase and we had a great time,he was easy on me for the about 140 miles or so we clicked off.The course was fun and I have never seen so many Ural sidecar rigs in one place in my liife and they were all having a great ride.Lots of HUSKYS showed up from all over.I did get to see lots of old friends from races past.I only hit the dirt 1 time {mud chasing Jason} just before the tunnel too much throttle on the old Te310.We were both impressed with how much fuel we didnt burn.Jason rode his plated 12 TC449.Stock gearing we were both turning some pretty good rrrs on the road sections.Wish I could have hung around for todays ride the weather was Awesome today !I could see the Mt Hood clear from my house 75 miles away after lunch so it should have been a blast.Chuck Sun and Ron were there .Chuck rode one of Huskys 2012 Te310s he seemed to really enjoy it.
This week end in the Funky Chicken National and Husqvarnas Cory Graffunder will be there and so will we I think i might try the ole 50 class and some fun also. Were Also a sponsor of that and the next dualsport ride in Bend 2 weeks from now.Im hopeing to get some of my crew and I over thre for that one it should also be a blast.RIDE MORE what a great idea unfortunately I get to ride less so most you get to ride more. But for now considering what fun yesterday and this Sunday coming up at the Funky Chicken and next dualsport in Bend (CHINA HAT} I am getting to RIDE MORE.billf

I had a great time on Saturday at the Black Dog but was wishing I had saved my knees for Sunday when the weather was excellent and there was more dirt. By next year I will be ready for 2 days of A course ****************************************
What a great ride and gathering of riders in a fantastic location.
