• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

We moved across the parking lot about 50 feet to our new building starting friday am.{we have alot of stuff}!!!
Thanks to Lonny {oregonsage},he stopped by to get a Leo for the TE610 and stayed for hours hauling shelves and boxes of Husky parts.
2600 sq ft to about 6600 sq ft,what a change.Opened April 06/1996 its been fun ,now we have a really great clean operation, but still the "bills" atmoshpere.
We still have some offices to move and the service dept this week, but that will be easy compared to the detail work of rehanging every accy and helmet ,gear bag gas can, glove, skid pan etc.
Im going to try to add the pics otherwise go to www.billshusky.com and click on events or varius and they are there.
The biggest deal of this we are right on the street and we dont have to push between 25 and 75 bikes in and out every morning and evening just to go home rain or shine, just hit the alarm say good night to the boys and go home{ill probably be sleepwalking around the house outside pushing a Wr150 around and round in my sleep.}billf
Just realized wrong computer you will have to go to www.bills husky.com

Sounds too good. I was going to come down Sat, but got sidetracked.

One of the things I used to enjoy though, was looking at the bikes in the parking lot. Seems like every time there would be something I hadn't seen for a while. Usually quite a variety.

It looks a lot better than it did when I left Friday night. It was great working with you and Bryon. Nice to get out from behind the desk and sweat a little.

The new showroom looks great in your pictures.

(BTW, that Leo make my 610 sound just right. The raspyness of the stock pipe is gone and it has a nice mellow purr when cruising. Excellent.)

WOW!

That had to be a huge job, looks really nice. And Bryon gets a front row seat  Don't let that yamabog creep out of the walls... (this used to be the Johnny Rohners Yamaha shop back in the day).pretty cool.

That is really nice Bill.

Clicking on the big 'Events' button did not bring up the pictures, but the dropdown menu for both 'events' and 'various' did.

Someone should hot link a before and after picture in this thread. I cannot tell if there is even a before picture on your site.

I will assume if I ever drive by when you are open it would be ok to stop in. :)
