• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

AA Class
anyone interested the big sky cross country event is on for this weekend in Big Sky Montana, some top names are set to hit the slopes. check it out at bigskyxc.com. lots of cash on the table plus plenty of swag for other classes. short notice but almost anyone can get here in 1 or 2 days.

I can't go this year but will be there for 2013. If you ever have a chance to go to this one I highly recommend it, even as a spectator. This is the funnest, best venue I've been too for the west.

The Big Sky event will be the best off-road event in the country this year. Some of the "best" riders from Canada and the U.S. will be there this weekend. Husky's Cory Graffunter is leading the the AMA Western Hare Scrambles Championship and this is the last round. When Cory pulls this off, Husqvarna USA will have a Championship to be proud of. Cory, Kyle Redmond and and Andrew DeLong are on the pre-entry list, so Husky will be there in full force. Check out Cory's face book page as he and Kyle are on the road to Montana and the "Big Sky" 2012 event.

As much as I'm not a fan of the 449 platform, I can't think of a better bike for attempting to climb Widows Peak, the cts rear suspension should really help Cory take the win at this one.
