• 2 Stroke Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Italy - About 1989 to 2014
    WR = 2st Enduro & CR = 2st Cross

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Nice to see someone else developing a new bike, got no other information but thought it was worth posting

their big 4 strokes do great in the tight woods so the 2 stroke should shine. Wonder if they are working in DFI because i don't think your going to sell 2 strokes after 2-15 that are not clean somehow.

I like the betas, the 11' 450 i rode felt just like my wr(frame ergonomics) the motor felt awesome even with crappy boggy jetting. but what I rode of it in the dealers parking lot felt great.

I believe I saw a Beta 2t enduro in the Erzberg rodeo footage, (first hill climb).
Nothing wrong with Beta, European quality.

Beta made 2 strokes for years. They used to be called Moto Beta. http://www.vintagedirtbikeparts.net/VintageKramerPuchSWMPhotos.htm
Look just past the ASPES motorcycle photos to see BETA photos.
Oh, also look at the Hercules photos and see a photo of MY 1972 Hercules K100GS that I built. Stubbled across that. Didn't know it was online.

Nice find
I now feel even older as there is a lot of bikes amongst that lot that I have owned / ridden (not the ones in the photos)
The Fantics bought on the butterflys as I had the very first RC 125 bought into the UK in 1976 and that thing was a absolute jem of a bike, far better than anything else around at the time
The SWMs had rotax power but there own porting specs and were fantastic motor wise, the chassis was fair but I did manage to snap one in half lol

Well looks like Beta now have a 300 2 stroke in there 2013 line of bikes !!!
Come on Husky pull your finger out lol

I like the GG motor, but don't like the GG bikes. I'd like another big bore smoker, but I feel my old, raggedy, kick only, non reklused outdated and raggedy WR300 will keep on keeping on for a few more years.
