• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Best looking front fender for '09-'10 TE450/510

Shawbridgehusky

Husqvarna
AA Class
Hello all, just bought a clean low hour '08 TE450 that was converted
to a 510 using all new parts including preassembled factory crank.
This was done at the local dealer by the owner himself whom
I trust and know personally as doing meticulous work.

The running gear has 1500 km's and the bike was last used for ice racing
on the former 450 motor that was run on a low oil level ( hence the new
510 motor )

The whole bike was gone through but I will strip it down again to get
familiar with it and do some PM and well as simplifying whatever I can
for some weight reduction if possible. I will be installing a Polysport
Halo front lamp and and looking for a more up to date front fender.

I am leading towards a white with black top bracket 2007+ KTM front
fender. The Polysport SMR ducted one look nice too, but I wil be
doing 50/50 trail / road with it and some mild MX track use as well.
I don not like the ook of the Japanese front fenders at all even if some
are available in white, so KTM or other euro bike plastic it is.

rtechmx have anice assortement as well but do not know if they ship to Canada :

motosportz adapted a 449/511 hi style fender assy to his older 2 stroke red husky , it looks pretty cool.

Thanks, I'll try and kind a pic. Is the stock SMR rear fender shorter than the stock TC / TE one ? The stock one is waaay too long IMO.
