• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Best deal on a 13 TXC 250 WR or WR125

I bought a 2013 TXC 310 last year for $4900. With dealer costs was roughly $5400. Best bike I've ever owned in 20+ years of riding. A little hiccup last week but bike survived. My 15 YO daughter next year will be big enough for a 250 or 125/144. I saw some 250's for $3999 and WR 125s for same price last year. My plan is to store bike for her till next spring if I can get these good deals again. Any of you guys point me to a dealer with some smoking prices on the last of the red Huskys? If not I'll probably look for an 03-07 Honda CR 125 for her. She's a tall girl at 5'8" and still growing. She takes after her Dad, I'm 6''4"

Big D Motorsports in Woodland Park, CO. Far but you can make it worthwhile and race a www.corcs.net race ;)

I have an 03 CR 250 that I turned into an XC bike. Bike handles incredible and is super lite. Bought bike in like new condition for $1500 and dropped another $1500 into it and don't plan on getting rid of it. Motor is great once you ditch stock mikuni carb for a Keihin. Same mod has to be done to the Husky 2 strokes. Add a Vforce, FMF exhaust and a flywheel weight and it's a sweet controllable motor. 3k total compared to $6-7 for a new 2 stroke without mods, and there not really any better. Yes little CR will take a little work but can be turned into a nice really lite bike for a girl.

Daughter and I have been racing CORCS since it's beginning. I'm in the old guy B class and daughter races on Saturday. She's gonna try a few of the big races this year on her KX100.
The owner of the shop attends all the races too, his son races. I'm sure he can bring the new bike to you at the race ;). Or hell I'll be at each round too, I can grab it for you. Anyway, are you going to round1 at Aztec? We'll have to meet up

Yes we will be there. I'm #318 on probably the only Husky TXC 310. My brother is racing my CR250 and his number is 845. Stop by and say hey. Were in the afternoon race.

Have you thought about a YZ125? I have a project YZ125 in garage right now. Picked up a pro's backup bike for $1500 cash - it looks brand new. I am having Gorr do the 144 on it. I did all the woods farkles - and even ordered a new Rekluse EXP for it. All told I will have around $2700ish in a bike that will flat out rip in the woods and tips the scales at like 205 pounds!

Im not a big guy, so the 125 will haul me around pretty well. I imagine with a < 100 pound frame on it - it would flat out rock! The YZs are uber bullet proof and parts are cheap and plentiful.
