• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Heard this was posted on Dirt Bike .com

Kendal Norman and Ryan Abbatoye will race a EFI KTM at this years Baja 500
Sponsored by Red Bull and maybe some Factory KTM in there
Factory KTM Curt Casselli and Ramariz will race a carb KTM bike
That is very interesting Kendal is a ex Factory Honda/Johnny Cambell rider who has been out there on his own.Kendal did do Romanic this year on a KTM 300 2 stroke But raced a Honda 450 at round 1 and 2 of the Nationals where he won and is the only rider to beat the Factory KTM
Team

Kendal is one of the fastest off road racers out there with many Baja 500 and 1000 overalls
Plus former AMA National Hare and Hound overall # 1 plate holder
So lets go out there on a limb and hope with the KTM Husaberg deal we might just see Kendal on a Husky/husaberg next year. KTM already has one of the best off road teams So that leaves
Husaberg/Husky with some openings Neck we might just see Gram Garvis on a Husky to
Say what you want about KTM at least they like racing more then BMW ever did Lots of thing to
look forward to with the new change

Sigh... I guess if we can't get anyone else, I could cheer for Kendall Norman...

Tinken Say what you want he has always gone out of his way to be nice to me and my sons over all the years we have been racing.i have done a few trail rides with him before the races and he is both fast and helpful in giving riding adviceHe is also the only person I know of who has beat Casselli so that is good for the sport Plus with a sponsor like Red Bull more
exposure of off road racing might just help promote the sport

Yep these guys are racers and its gonna take yrs for all the changes to shake out so take it as it is ... I'll be glad to see Husky competing at the top tier of all racing ... Maybe a real Husky racing team will show up over here next yr ...

Any Guess Who will win the BAJA 500 tomorrow?

Well finally some one is looking at this thread Over the last few years a lot of people said Husky needs to race Baja Husky belongs in Baja, winning Baja sells bike. Well Husky Fans the closes thing we now have to look forward to is a Blue and Yellow Husaberg with a Husky logo on it That will work for now So lets hope a KTM wins Baja because that
is the closes thing to a Husky in Baja we have for now.
My money is on Kendall, Casselli already is a KTM Factory rider so maybe there is a Blue and Yellow Husky team in the future

Oh shit! Guess he won't be txt'ing me for awhile...Edit: He says its not broken, just hurt. Whew! :D

Factory Honda 1x first Those boys just seem to have it in Baja
Factory KTM Kurt Cassille 2x second

RedBull KTM Kendal Norman 14x third

If the schedule is correct, they started at 6am today? And you made your post last night?

Please Clarify ISDE Team Leader Kurt only hurt his wrist?, not broken?
For me ISDE is paramount, hope Kurt is on the 100% AA game for Sardegna!!

Friend found out thurs a Oz team needed a rider in 40 class (2 man team- 1 guy broke leg prerunning) he joined the team showed up and rode, he has a 3rd place trophy.
Need to check the results...hope they didn't get penalized....Hon listed as 1-2-3 they were on a KTM.
