• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I was getting my yearly MOT today for the Husky .. I went to give the guys a hand to start it so they could see if lights etc work .. And disaster my comfy slipper like Sidi Vert died , the nasty husky kickstarter killed em .

So now I need new boots , tougher boots . I want a pair that will crossover , so I can still ride the deft touch of a Superduke or Aprilia RSV and then also boot the Husky into life .

Do I want alpinestar tech 8 lite ?? Is they worth the money to match my leathers or would I be pissin cash up the wall ?

yes a good pair of sx type boots.
alpine stars are a bit hit n miss as far as fitment goes but if you do pull the trigger im sure they will last a few years easy.
an sort the kicker out as that looks like its cut the sidi's sole.

Starter is fine , just the old sidis had seen the wear ,soles were pretty thin , they were 12 years old .... but sooo comfy .

Right then .. Wulfsport .. made in the UK .. well for now , maybe after the vote it will be made in Scotland .. But UK boots non the less , support the Brits and all that . They ain't expensive .. sooo I suppose they probably have a fashionistas stigma attatched to em for being cheap . I am old , I don't care about that . For experimental porpoises .. should I buy a pair ? .. At that price if I wear em once , don't like em and leave em on the shelf it won't matter to much really .. I have wasted more cash on worse things than that in my life :D
