• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Leaves in upstate NY are just past peak so off on a ride to check things out.
No rain for a week and the ground not yet froze made traction very good. A variety of terrain and it was all good. Leaves looked great except when you were laying in them and had a snout full after a get off!

Big Chris cruising the grass track

Chris is our "token" KTM trail rider. The leaves made you stay on your toes or you'd end up on your head

A rare "Husqvonda WTF230" sighting...standing....fingers on controls....in control......a woods rider in the making!

All in all a good day and good prep for an upcoming charity trail ride

Lookin' good.:D Our Autumn riding down here is still almost exactly like summer riding; hot, dry and full of silty dust.

You forgot the mandatory "Ride Report Bike Portrait" !! I don't know where the KTM is, though...

Sorry I missed it. My buddy Greg and I did a little ride on the '07 NE Husky Gathering trails. After a week of rain which was capped with 3" of wet snow Friday and a good carpet of leaves.... it made for a slick ride.:busted: Greg's '09 TE610 and my '09 WR125 made an interesting pair.

Ah beautiful scenery. In Aussie we are an evergreen country and do not get to see such beautiful foliage change. The 310 looks beaut. I got my brother off a KTM 450 2 weeks ago for a run out 310. Like me he is needing to downsize as age creeps up. I had a ride and loved it. Any comments from you 310 owners would be sweet. I have seen some around the efi issues and a little around general stuff. A good owners report would be well recieved however. Cheers.

Eye protection! Looks like the rider of the Hondovarna was the only one with goggles. Good for her! Not wearing eye protection warrants a big ole  and a :bonk: .

Beautiful scenery btw.

Joe's the only offender.... Pete and his KTM buddy have riding glasses on. Look at the bridge of their noses.:busted:

only lowered an inch but like my forks soft side and I do tend to "Stand" on my fron brakes.........also a trick of the pic too as many i am hitting bumps, going down hill, or just coming off brakes in a turn.......she sits high up front........never bottomed once even doing some doubles for fun

I have to say I have been guilty of that on occasion ....but only if I am riding alone....the airflow gets addicting.....now I know why some like glasses.....
