• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Anyone know of any lightly used TM 250 enduros or 300's out there?????

kind of related.....I am sooooo happy I went back to the future with 2T and am now riding the TE300 after 10 years of 4 strokes.....you guys are all partially instrumental in this decision. And for Fletch, as I stated I was up into the 90% Beta 300RR decision but was derailed by my longtime dealer of Italian Huskys who is now a Wht Husky/KTM dealer. I was continuing way down the Italian bike road but came over and stayed H brand loyal if not nationally loyal. I have a few rides on the TE300 now 2 of which are hardcore trail rides, the thing is a hard enduro weapon in progress (suspension $ next). The brand has not been washed at all, its a great bike and 2 stroke was the best choice for what and where we ride.
I still want to also eventually own a TM, most likely a TM250E and most likely one of the earlier CrMo chassis models .

Well. What I will say is never really is never. I to may someday ride a KTM/Husqvarna. I want to see what direction it goes in the next few years. Still waiting for my 12 TM 250 to show up!!! Supposed to be next Wednesday. Getting the old 99 TM ready. Wheel bearings etc..... A little love the aluminum tank monster needs!! Sounds like parts not a problem and looking foreword to fun. As I removed the front wheel and looked at it. I got a kick at the fact the hubs were so trick for a 99!! Seems like a lot of passion goes into those TM's the 12 I will make pretty sweet I hope when dialed. Full riding reports in 3 weeks or so......

Fletch,
TM USA has a fairly substantial parts inventory in the Ca. warehouse (and I'm sure many parts move along the evolutionary trail like most EU special machines), Pete's just a phone call away.
Cam, still in work on the Solva thing.

Camstyn. What do you mean???? I got the 99 going good. Testing will start soon. My 12 should be here today!! But yes as with anything used bought sight unseen I am a little concerned! Supposed to have only 17 hours on it! Whats up with yours?????????? I talked to Pete for fifteen minutes. Super busy guy. But parts seem like no issue and no need to talk to anyone to get parts. If you got a 250 make sure you check the water pump impeller. I have heard of them failing as they are plastic. Good to replace this 10 dollar part every so often. Let me know whats up????

Cam,
Very sorry to see your post. How can that guy sleep at night? Good luck with the bike and listen to people's opinions.... a persons rep doesn't develop overnight and usually is deserved.

yzrider, it looks like he's just north of Cincinnati in Mason, OH.

i'm a member on Vital if you'd like me to msg him as well.

Ehhh thats a pretty serious drive, that is a darn nice tm though.

Ill let you know about messaging him, i appreciate it typeone.

Here's a local suspension companies TM 144 for sale. Seems like a good deal and it looks great in person. The ad says they're willing to take it somewhere for shipping if you arrange it. Figured I'd throw it up there since this thread has become a used TM yard sale and they are willing to take it to be shipped. If nothing else, it's nice to look at :)
