    WR = 2st Enduro & CR = 2st Cross

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st Anyone in Iowa area with a 165 wanna swap bikes for 30min?

Chums

Husqvarna
Pro Class
Like title says I'm in the Iowa City Area and can't decide if I want a txc310r or a wb165!! I rode the 310 but not the 165. I race a 14'wr300 and could make a short weekend trip to ride sometime if anyone would be willing to swap bikes back and forth while we ride???

I like the torque and traction of the 4s and thought having one would be a good addition to the 300. The 310 seems to snake through the very very tight stuff a little better than the 300 as well.

I THINK I will like the super lightness of the 165 and think a high comp head will help me with my need for speed but don't know if that package will benefit me in a 2hr hare scramble or not?

This is my bike you'd be riding

You need two new bikes- the 310 and the 165****************************************!

where did you get the sticker kit for your 300 bud?

Its a custom kit from decal works, I had them do some custom art work and i picked ,placed , and chose all the colors. They are top notch this was the first time I've used them and would buy from them again!

race that 165 for a year then hop over to the 300. youll be amazed at what youll learn in the process.

or settle for the 144. I raced mine for a year and a half when I started racing and it helped me a in a lot of ways.

Yeah been doing my research and 165 it is, just got a purchase agreement to look over!!! All they have for 14's is the CR so I'd have to get a upgraded stator to run a head light in those Enduro's you like, lol. I have to go on a diet and stop preparing for hibernation it has put me at 230lbs and need to be at 200! Got a 3 gal IMS tank, Lectron, and Rekluse specked out so should be able to do 90 miles in a go if It will haul me around that long. Both the 14' 300 and 14' 165 are 2 year bikes right now until I want to update...that is if I want to let them go. Just ordered a Righteous stunt metal easy pull clutch leaver to try out on the 300 so I can actually use the clutch with the rekluse 2.0 on it.
