• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Its OK to take a TE model to the woods :) ...

Antoine Meo has won the sixth edition of the Xtreme Lumezzane Enduro Race. The official rider of the CH Racing Husqvarna Team for the first time with the new Husqvarna Te 310 2011 version has won the honorable race in front of more than 10.000 viewers. For Meo this was an excellent training in view of the last heats of the endure world championship that will take place starting from the end of August.

You might stand a better chance of getting info from Zip-Ty or Glenn Kearney unless you can dazzle them with your Italian....or get Robertaccio to inquire.

It's not that important ....just curious ... probably just suspension work to some degree, FI work to some degree ... pipe maybe ... tires ....

At that level nothing is left untouched.

Its the official factory team. exactly.

That is brilliant start for the new machine!! Nice post, that will eventually (prolly) be my next bike, downsize!!

We can all keep an eye out for one of the bike focus articles in one of the EU or It bike mags, sometime they just really diesect the race bikes with photos and specs.

PS did you pay attention to that obstacle?? geezz an almost vert approach to huge dug out gully to another near vert ascent,, just nuts. But i think the world trials guys would laugh at it, maybe?

Yep, would not even be a good warm up are for the world trials dudes.

I bet that TXC310 would be perfect for you. Benn hearing real good things about that bike.

read Mika's blog about the Lumezzane event as a whole and Devils tooth obstacle down lower in the blog, he is amazing rider, I love his non-explanation of how he made it. Also crashing into the crowd at the top. Also his interesting take on the Italian Enduro Championship and the foreign rider thing.

Gee those little red socks with the Husky logo on the bottom of the fork leg protectors look very nice.

From what I've heard the TXC 310 if there is such a bike, is not being sold in the USA. Only the TE version. I hope thats wrong info. Anybody know forsure??

meo

Yes he wins the Lummezane Xtreme with the new super-b battery in his new Husqvarna TE 310 X-light.
this battery is 1.6 kg leighter than the original gel battery.

super-b is also the Mika Ahola battery!!
My TXC still needs a lightweight battery, my decision was never final on which one. Thanks for the note from Holland, tell Iwan van der Valk I said hey**************************************** (just joking if you dont know him) he is the only person from Holland I know, if you dont count the night in Amsterdam...........R

We have TE310 -11 in Stock

Great bike. Perfect for every type of Enduroriding. We have it for testriding/demo bike for our customers.

Hey Klas, Do you have any information on Meos 310. Is it a full on TE. Does he have to use a key to start it or is that able to be by-passed. My 2009 310 needed a key to start it even with a racing wire harness. In the States the Te 310 is coming with all the dual sport crap, Do the bikes in Sweden come set up for street ?
Any information would help.
Thanks

I don`t hav e any info on Meo:s bike. I dont think hi have all streetequipment on it. It is ofcourse a factory bike.

All TE i s coming with with streetlegal equipment. But this isn`t any problem.

We also have all part for full power dilivered with the bike. They are restricted when they are shipped to all EURO countries.

Key or not, you need some type of switch anyway.
