• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hey, that's pretty good considering he had to ride a junky old WR. But, he did have WP forks. Must be off the 2014 model.

`Question I beleive last year he started the year off on the WR 300 and finished every race he entered?
Then towards the middle of the year he changed to the TE310 and got some DNFs
That might have been a Husky thing So lets hope he stays on the 300 and the finishes continue

Pretty darn good for a 38 year old. He was leading almost the whole race. His 15 year old son was running 24th at one point but I didn't see if he finished...

Here's an interesting snip from enduro21.com:

Husaberg wanted Jarvis to win, and ensured the nearly man had all the support he needed. Landing ‘helpers’ on all of the gnarliest sections of the track, they had men on the ground in numbers, just in case. Teamwork prevailed and Jarvis got the job done.

well, every team wants their own rider to win, and helps their rider with the best support.
i watched the whole race on tv and didn't have the impression that jarvis received excessive help on the track.
right after the race, lettenbichler said in an interview that jarvis was remarkably faster than himself.

Just read something about Jarvis & Lettenbichler being disqualified? Did I read that right, or did I find an old thread from another year?

Jarvis was DQ'd for the last three years. I think Lettie was once or twice as well. Navigation errors were the problems. They legitimately won this year.

Thanks for the info, I read it & had to run almost right away. Just went back & found the link, it was from last year. :D

And all two strokes
In 2008 Letti finished the Erzberg Hare Scramble with a second place on a BMW 450X!!! From the third checkpoint on he only had one foot peg because obe broke of. At the end he got gear problems because he had to stand on the shift lever...

In 2009 he won the Romaniacs on the same bike. This guy is AWESOME!!
