• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

This will be the final round for the 2012 year Location North Anderson Dry Lake Luceren Valley in so Calif
I have done all of the other rounds and will be loop captain for this one.I will not race it so as to work the race with my fellow 100mc to bring you a great race.
The race will be 80 miles long with the first loop split in 2 at 20 miles each with everyone comming down pit row.EASY EASY first 40 miles so everyone should make it.Then loop 2 will be 40 National miles with some tuff stuff in it.

Come on out and try a National Desert Race Dust off your race bike, prep your dual sport bike
no excuse for not trying. The first 40 miles is great for a dual sport so hope to more Husky there.Sign up for the 1 loop option and do the first 40 miles you have a bike you like to ride it so why not show up.Better, cheaper and more fun then motrcross or Gran Prix.
No gate fee and you can ride around all day for free before and after you race

No race footage...Damn. Hope you have a good turn out.

Wally I have all 120 miles of the race this weeken all 3 loops on video Wait till you hear and see the 165 pinned for 3 miles on the bomb run. Then on the dry lake bed they had a radar gun to get everyones speed
I was clocked at 65 mph not bad for a 165 geared 14/ 52
