• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Am I going to need iBeat??

LBM.

Husqvarna
AA Class
I was never really happy with the low speed off idle response from my 2011 te310 (kinda soggy and not clean throttle) seemed better as bike broke in. Was going to live with it but on the low speed technical trails I sometimes ride it can become a nuisance. Had the opportunity to ride another 11 te310 (with stock ecu, injector and exhaust) and his is "Much" better at low speeds and seems to have more power. His was purchased from a different province and trailered home. His was set up well from dealer. My dealer (not really a dealer) does not have iBeat.
I have fooled around with my air screw and tps setting making mine worse, finally found a setting that runs reasonably good but idle speed at 2400-2500rpm's Anybody got a used iBeat cable and software to rent or sell??

You can buy iBeat software and cable from Semco Designs. They are a sponsor and a reputable business.

Yes, Thanks Mike-Ak. I am aware I can buy it new But Hate to purchase a dealer tuning device that I may only use one time. Just kicking the bushes to see if someone has a unit they may be willing to part with, or some advice.
Semco w-site seems to be temporily down.

Hey rickcj7, Not sure what you have in mind but I'am located in Newfoundland Canada. Are you willing to sell or lend out?? We could work something out, Is yours the ibeat 2? thanks for the reply.
L.

I've rented it out before but I think s/h to Canada would cost more. I'm in US.
USPS flat rate box is $5.80 each way and $25 rental.

It's $19.95 flat rate to Canada,
So $65 to rent it.

Thanks cj7, sounds fair. still contemplating a new one but for me its more like 340.00 plus taxes and duty . I'll get back to you. Thanks.
Lorenzo.
