    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

I watched about half of this last night and it was kind of fun. A girl turns out to be the best rider. Decent action footage and OK for the whole family, especially young ladies who ride. From 2001.

Only disappointment....no Huskies.
 
Real riders for the movie were Lamson (during husky daze) McGrath and Pastrana. Pastrana did much of the race crash work. Pretty funny movie with how the French rider is such a tool.
 
Yeah, I really like that movie, too. Great riding, likeable cast, silly plot but not boring, humor, romance, winning and of course....motorcycles.:applause: I could watch it any time.:D I though the trackside scenes were portrayed in a more realistic manner than some other MX flicks. I guess that I am just a youngster at heart.:p
 
^^ Is that the one where they hired a few pro riders to ride with the stunt guys and ryan hughes was one of the pros. I guess they told all the pro's to ride like normal and don't cut the stunt riders any slack. When the gate dropped hughes did exactly what they told him, he treated it like a race and quickly put every stunt rider in the fences or over a berm. Every stunt guy was scarred to death of him after 10 minutes.:lol:

I've seen that movie a few times! Eric groans when it comes on; he thinks it's really stupid but he knows we're going to watch it anyway:lol:

If you like that one you should rent Winner Take All sometime.
Best rider is a girl in that one, too:D Also has Broc Glover in it as a conceited and jealous Nancy boy :lol:

I gotta admit ,as an ol' fart, I liked the Disney film "Motocrossed" ...heck ,I even copied it(oops ..am I gonna get in trouble for saying that:eek:) My sons and I pop it in to watch after getting tired watching countless "jump" videos.Of course my all time favorite with LOTS OF HUSKYS in it is TripleX (actually XXX....AND NO ITS NOT PORN!,but if your a Husky whore like me ,you may think so!) It has Vin Diesel as the main character..and even though its not up there in acting with the Titanic or any high dollar film,it has what I need ...action and alot of Huskys:thumbsup::cheers::applause:

I've always wondered if some one in hollywood is a Husky fan? Maybe the guy who is responsible for getting motorcycles for movies is a husky rider? They seem to appear in quite a few movies and music vids.
 
"winners take all" is a great kind of dorky movie. Like when he built that frankinstein bike to race in the Dallas supercross, and ended up in a huge brawl.:lol:
 
There was a Tupac video, I think "California Love" that has several HSQ's in it. I'm not a gangsta but it was cool to see them in the video.
