    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

I have started this post to get efi settings for bikes in AUSTRALIA as most of the efi setings posted on hear will not work will be close but not spot on as thay are from the USA or CANADA

so if in AUSTRALIA and want to post your efi settings that you have found to work post it up and help some AUSIES out

this is what i have found to work

2009..te 450 full power up tps set std co1...105 co2...107 co3...110
2010..te 250 full power up tps set std co1...101 co2...105 co3...107
2011..te 310 full power up tps set std co1...100 co2...105 co3...100 ?????????
 
2009 TE250 with 310kit and stock te250 ecu Power up done Muffler insert removed.Tps set at 977 to 1000mvs COs @ 120--120--115. idle set at 1950rpm Made 37.5 on the back wheel.
2010 TE250 power up done with muffler insert removed Tps @ 977--1000mvs COs @ 100--105--95. Should make 30hp at the wheel and no bog from 3000rpm up.
 
Not that I am in AU but I thought i would make a contribution...

In my experience (08 to 10 UK models) all the bikes settled on slightly different figures and need adjustment as they get more hrs on them. I tweeked my 09 510 many times as it got run in from new and it made a difference too.
I also found you dont rely on Dyno figures for the bottom end, as they dont resemble off roading too well.
Also keep the gap between co1 and co2 short to avoid flameouts.

My uncorked 09 TE510 settings are: CO1=105, CO2=103, CO3=100

G'day all, received the ibeat the other day, got it all sorted. My '10TE450 with power up has 1700kms on it so I consider that pretty well run in. The bike has received a new wiring loom under warranty due to 'FAIL' continually remaining on display. I ride the Ballarat area (Enfield, Lal Lal state forests and the Meredith club) I have always considerd my bike to perform very well and guzzle fuel (75kms is when the reserve light comes on)
I haven't quite figured out the TPS yet

When reading other settings I would assume this is a rich set up considering I get poor economy on 98 octane. I might try them down a bit lower and see how it goes on a big loop

My 09 310 only gets 75-80kms to a tank. The 310s and 450s have the same size tank so your doing ok. They tend to have a big bog down low when std. Thats why you have to richen them up a bit, I bet you dont have the low down bog anymore.

Never really noticed any type of bog down (unless the idiot controlling it is in too high a gear when giving it some throttle) Those settings are the first time I have seen them so I presume thats how it came from the shop when new. I guess its a bit of trial and error type experiment from here on.......???????

Those settings you have are not what they came here in oz with, I say your dealer has made the wright settings when they done the pre delivery. Sounds like yours is all good then.

Do you have a JD tuner as part of your set up?

Co are Settings 115, 107, 105 (additional to the JD Settings)

These settings I thought worked OK but I added a JD tuner and am much happier with the power overall, esp down low. It is definitely running richer, but not at all fouling the plug rich. Fuel economy may have decreased ever so slightly but somewhere in the order of less than 5-10%. That decrease in efficiency may be attributed to the twisting of the throttle more frequently - There must be a string tied from my face to the throttle as the more I twist it now the larger my smile is.

Co 115 107 105 seems to be some sort of factory setting here in Aust. for the 2009/10 TE310. I've seen 3 of them the same now (including mine which is wrong since I have a upgrade 310 kit w/ 250 ecu).
Currently running 122 122 118. Huge hit to fuel range as I'm struggling for 70km of single track but very nice power.

Jeez, that's terrible economy.
I reckon you might benefit from a dyno tune as my 14 model done 61klms on just under 4L, mostly single trail and some WOT stuff too, never give it an easy time.
 
yeah my 09 450 has a bog down low (only got it a month or two ago), haven't got ibeats yet but working on it.
very happy with smooth power delivery but big flat spot on initial throttle opening, like a carb bike with a didgy accelerator pump.

Will be interesting to see how it clears up when I get the software.
 
I just bought a JD Tuner for my 2011 TE511, and I cant figure out how to fit it. I'm almost certain I have been sent the wrong one, as every plug on the bike will not line up with any of the plugs on the tuner. Also, the picture that shows the tuner on Rocky Mountain website is completely different to the one I got sent.

Does anyone have a picture of theirs before they installed it? I'm just looking at the wiring harness and the plugs.

Any help would be appreciated.
 
No problems. Mine sits under the seat next to the battery. It's easy to figure out. You have a mae and female plug. Remove the plug from the air intake. Place the jd plug in to the intake. Now plug the husky plug into the male jd plug. Loop complete. Do a tps reset and away you go. Make sure the negative terminal is secure and no wires are rubbing. PS do not turn off the bike while unit is in the middle programming a setting change. They don't like it... Mine wouldn't start because I turned mine off before it finished programming.
 
Yep I finally figured it out, just took a bit longer than I though it would. The plug was right in the back and I had to basically pull out the lower fuel tank just to get it in there. Was just a bit fiddly.

I got the FMF PC4 on at the same time, easy job, and the bike goes a shitload harder. The stock settings are a bit out and im still trying to get it right. What are your settings? Im in Orange and we are pretty high compared to the rest of Aussie, so my settings may be a bit different to most other aussies.
 
Got the tuner fitted, and it has a sh!tload more power, but there are a few problems. The midrange is awesome, pulls bloody hard.
It is very easy to stall, you have to ride the clutch a lot just to take off. Before the pipe and tuner it was fine. This is a major pain in ass in the tight stuff that i ride.
It also doesnt want to rev. It doesnt rev near as much as it did before the mods. At a guess no more than 7000 revs.
I started with the settings set at the recommended settings for the race pipe with spark arrester installed. I then played with settings to try to sort the bottom and top ranges, but only noticed small changes. It seems to work best at the recommended settings for the race pipe with spark arrester.
It also idles funny. It will idle normally in neutral but after slipping it into 1st, and cracking the throttle slightly, the revs dont go back to idle, they stay at higher revs.

If anybody has any advice on these problems, your help is much appreciated.

Before I fitted the FMF pipe and JD Tuner, it had the Akro pipe fitted, and it has the Map 2. It ran flawlessly, never had a problem, I just wanted more nuts, hence the mods.

Best setting to have CO2 between 12.5 and 13 from 0 to WOT at full load
